As a judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, I spent 18 years hearing and deciding some of the province's most complex cases. I saw family relationships tested, fortunes diminished by litigation costs, and opportunities for resolution missed.
Today, I bring that experience to mediation.

For nearly two decades, I presided over trials, applications and contested motions many involving estates litigation, will challenges, power of attorney disputes, guardianship proceedings, trust disputes, dependant support claims and capacity litigation.
I understand the strengths and weaknesses that judges look for because I was the judge making those decisions.
